Oversized Canvas Event ~ January 2011

We had the best fun at the January Oversized Canvas event here in Florida. Our venue was FABULOUS! The lighting and space just incredible for spreading out and painting LARGE!
It was great to see some ladies that attended my oversized canvas class last year back again and some faces that I haven't seen in YEARS!

It was neat to see all the different designs and things that people brought to paint. Some painted elements from my original painting above which was awesome too!!

Warehouse Sale of the Year at Dewberry's

I loved meeting so many painters who shared the moms with me. How nice... I even met some wonderful Hubby's. They were encouraging the purchases , believe that or not.










































These are just a few of the shots we were able to take... sorry we were so busy working and helping people get the special discontinued items and that special sale items they were looking for that we were crazy...and a little too busy for the photos I wanted.

By the way I pulled my last books out of the garage the discontinued books that I have been saving and we had some left over... Email the office if you are looking for that book you really wanted.... We might have it. $10 each never to be printed again. Say to the office I told you to contact them ! MOMMA said..... lol

I was sitting for a long time painting jars from Anna's wedding....

I wanted to surprise her and give her back some of the money she spent on all those Jars.... it worked.... I had over 50 and only had 8 left.... It was fun and everyone loved that it was for a good cause.... LOL....

SPECIAL Events to start the year

Just Want to make sure that if you do live in Florida that you check out some classes that were having:
This week is my second Oversize canvas Class in our new Education location... I'm so excited to meet all of you new and returning Students for these two days, This Friday and Saturday in Clermont..... and in Sarosota Fl. we will be having a couple of Great new Classes. My first Classes of the Year 2011 and there right here in Florida.
Lori S., is hosting a great half day class for all of you who want to start the new year with a refresher on Florals and they will be painted on a heart wreath with pretty ribbons... most of all you will love the floral study.... Great for newbies also, this is Feb. 10th at 1pm and Then on Feb. 11th With Elaine B... in her new shop! my First Workshop day of the large flowers on the black backgound that so many have asked me about.... its not an oversize canvas but a wonderful way to learn the technique to make it poss. for you to go to the next step....its an all day wonderful painting and I know you will love it... I taught it in Italy and we had a great time .
And to Finish OFF February Ask for a Valentine gift of painting with me at my event in Georgia (Warner Robbins) with Sandy M. This is our 4th event in Georgia and I love how much fun we have. Painters drive from Tenn. Alabama, NC,SC and more even from Fl. So February 17, 18,19 check it out ....

Anna's Wedding Day

Proud parents, we are so blessed to have Weston in our family now and were are so Happy for Anna to start her life in such a special way!

For Time and all Eternity

Dewberry and Liljenquest family and friends all arrive at the Orlando Temple for the Ceremony for Anna and Weston's Special day

January 8th 2011















Here is the Bride Anna and her sweet husband Weston
they are so made for each other. Kind, giving, sweet, caring, loving to everyone they meet. Helpful to their family members and always wanting to do the Lords work.

These traits touch Marc and My hearts so much. How could we be so blessed to have Anna find such a wonderful soul mate someone who will love and cherish her, for as we believe, an Eternity with Our Heavenly Father. God has so blessed our beautiful family. We were so grateful to have all our Children and Grandchildren with us for this wonderful day. Maria our child who has returned to Heavenly Father was even there in spirit with our loved one's who have passed. We could feel them each sharing this wonderful day with us.



























Anna and Weston GLOWED all day!!!!

I have to tell you that my Sister Kim her husband Rick and niece Jamie helped design and make the whole wedding decor, flowers and cake just so special... I had my best of friends with me working hard for days , Sandy and Lori, without much sleep and long drives they worked hard to decorate and babysit little ones, wash and clear tables for hours and much more. It was amazing to have Westons parents become our close Brothers and Sisters, like we have known them forever. Our Children, theirs and ours all helped work for days to make this day special for the couple.... Tall ladders, draping fabric, dipping pinecones in wax, lighting candles, lots of tree branches, peacock feathers and more. I can't wait for more pictures to share...

We ( all 4 of us parents) cried with joy for 3 days as we went through each step of their preparing and the joy of these days leading up to and the day of the marriage for Time and all Eternity.... I so wish this for each of my Children to have this Joy.




Marc and I tired but so pleased to have a memories of this day together with loving family. I just cried as I watched all my children line up to take pictures with their baby sister. I loved seeing what Marc and I were blessed with. Its not often that we are all together, our children, their children all 16 of them. 2 New babies and 3 marriages in little more than a year is pretty amazing. I don't know why I keep crying. I guess my baby wont be coming home to our home to sleep anymore. I am just a baby myself I guess. Marc and I keep going to see if her car is outside and if she's home yet. I guess we'll do that for a while...

Gearing up for 2011 Workshops!!

I'm so excited about getting back on the rode and painting with so many of you! I love our projects and I think you will too! We'll be painting large florals for one workshop and at the other a landscape with bright bold flowers in the foreground. Plus, on the same day we paint the landscape - we'll be doing a NEW stroke study. Also, in most areas there is a Crafty Wave painting event the evening before our workshops begin so make sure to sign up for those too!!
